3 Suckling Insects That May Be Wreaking Havoc On Your Business Landscaping

by Lillian Bishop

The landscaping you have invested in for your business can help to promote a good image, but it is also something that needs care. Sometimes, there may be a problem with plants that can be hard to get to the bottom of, such as suckling insects that suck the life out of plants and leave your business landscaping look deserted and lifeless. Some of these insects, such as aphids and white flies can also bring with them other problems, like ants and diseases that can spread. If you want to keep your business safe from these suckling critters, here are some of the things that you will want to be on the lookout for:

1. Spider Mites And Other Tiny Scaled Critters

Spider mites are one of the pests that can do more than just attack plants; these insects also bite and can leave unpleasant rashes on the skin. These pests can be difficult to see, but signs can be blistering of leafs and red spots on the bottom of foliage. These insects can also be other colors and be seen with white, black or grey growth on stems and leafs of the plants.

2. Aphids And Other Flies That Eat Away At Flowering Plants

Aphids are a fly-like pest that commonly attack roses and other landscaping plants. These pests can start a chain reaction of pests invading your landscaping. They produce a honey dew that ants love, which can lead to an infestation of ants and other predators. An aphid infestation can also cause many types of fungus and diseases that can be difficult to control. This is a problem that you will want to have dealt with, which can sometimes be seen by the small flying insects beneath foliage and ants protecting them around the plants that are infected.

3. Ladybugs And Other Beatles That Eat Away At Foliage

Ladybugs and other beetles can be a problem to many different types of landscaping plants. These are insects that can eat away at leaves and even nest in the trunk of trees and other plants. Some beetles are invasive species that can kill trees. These problems can often be noticed by the dead areas of a plant wear beetles of ate new growth and nested.

If you want to keep your business from vampire like insects that suck the life out of your plants, look for these signs of their presence. When you suspect there is a problem, contact a commercial bug service, such as Bisaillon's Rid All Termite & Pest Solutions, to help control the problem.

About Me

Creating a Quick Home Sale

One of the things that helped sell my home quickly, at least according to my real estate agent, was the time I spent fixing up the landscaping. I knew about the importance of eye appeal, but who would have thought that something as simple as a storage shed or a backyard veggie garden could make such a big difference in the sale price of a home, and the length of time it takes to sell said home? Well to prove that my landscaping techniques worked, I helped three friends sell their homes using some of my tips and tricks. It seems to have worked, because every one of them were able to fetch their asking price and sell before their goal deadlines. So, I figured I should help others out there who could use a little help in the home selling department… hopefully you'll find inspiration on the pages here.
